Two suspected phone snatchers were on Thursday torched by irate mob in an attempt to snatch a phone from a pedestrian. The two male suspects, who were aboard a motorbike, attempted to snatch a phone from a pedestrian, leading to their pursuit by, among others, boda boda operators. The irate mob then poured petrol and lit fire burning them to death after they were cornered at the Geoffrey Kamau Avenue. Police arrived at the scene, and rescued one suspect, who hadn’t lost his life at the time. He was taken to a Nakuru hospital morgue as he waits to be arraigned in court.
